Because of the limitation of people's experiences and abilities, decision makers always need to ask for advise, or even ask somebody decide for them, when they face the important and complex problems to solve. These years, the differences among self decision, advice taken and make decision for others have attracted more and more research attention, researchers tend to evaluate the deep reasons which would influence the decision qualities. The research in the literature, revealed that self- other decision making differences do exist. This article displays correlational studies in three aspects: pre- decision(The selection and processing of information), decision making process(choice preference) and the consequence of decision(decision quality and satisfaction). In addition, I suggest some newsearch angles for self- other decision.
