Abstract

Dragon Boat Race derived from a spirit of dragon culture and a tool of boating skill.From Wei-jin and South-North dynasties,the Dagon Boat Race has the significance of commemorating Qu Yuan,which gives deeper thoughts with Qu's patriotic spirit and pure character.It is necessary to fight against the heart blunder and more decline in the modern society by such a way to praise his noble spirit out of the ordinary. Furthermore,Dragon Boat Race reflects the spirit of marching ahead in unity and excelling self in bravery of Hua-Xia nationality,which consists with modern Olympic ideas,hence the hope of Chinese people to the world.
