Fantasias de poder e fantasias de identidade: gênero, raça e violência

Abstract

Tomo como ponto de partida neste ensaio a questao de um laco estabelecido entre diferenca de genero e tipos de agencia. Meu interesse esta na relacao entre identidade de genero e discursos de genero, entre o genero enquanto vivido e o genero enquanto construido. Ao final do ensaio, discuto essas questoes no contexto da violencia interpessoal. AbstractI take as my starting point in this essay the issue of an established link between gender difference and types of agency. My concern is with the relationship between gender identity and gender discourses, between gender as it is lived and gender as it is constructed. At the end of the essay I discuss these issues in the context of interpersonal violence.
