Communication in Social Movements: A New Perspective on Human Rights

Abstract

Popular social movements, human rights, culture and communication are interrelated phenomena in the concrete space of their achievements that develop in accordance with the level of consciousness and capacity for social articulation of each specific epoch. Communication is expressed in personal and interactive group processes and through technological channels. It permeates social dynamics but also has its own specificities.
