Abstract

Among the hotter topics in the social sciences these days is that of ‘globalization’. Consistent with this emphasis, movement scholars have begun to freely use terms such as ‘transnational social movements’ and ‘transnational social movement organizations’, implying that here too we are witnessing wholly new phenomena born of some more general globalizing trend. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
