ZusammenfassungErnst Kurths Schrift Grundlagen des linearen Kontrapunkts unterscheidet sich wesentlich von traditionellen Kontrapunkt-Lehrbüchern, denn das Interesse des Autors gilt nicht einem sukzessiven Annähern an die mehrstimmige polyphone Komposition, wie sie in der Tradition seit Johann Josef Fux betrieben wurde, vielmehr lehnt Kurth das Lehr-System des punctum contra punctum kategorisch ab.1
