Abstract

Key Messages Growing urban physical geography research will focus the discipline on the places where most Canadians live and work, potentially raising the visibility of the discipline. Urban physical geography can look to urban ecology for conceptual models to help advance urban physical geography research. Funding institutions and undergraduate programs represent barriers for urban physical geography in Canada.
