Dinamika Hubungan Kaum Muslim dan Umat Hindu di Pulau Lombok

Abstract

The dynamics of relations between any groups always brings \nupon issues of misunderstanding and prejudice. This kind of \npotential misunderstanding that may arise to the surface \nbecause of the fact that every group has different agendas, \nneeds, cognitive content, and motivation. These differences \noccur in the individual level as well as in the group level. This \npaper elaborates the rise and fall including the dynamics of \nrelations between the Sasak ethnic in which most of them are \nMuslims and the Bali ethnic which most of them are Hindi in \nLombok Island in general, specifically in the city of Mataram. \nThe literature based paper concludes that the relationship \nbetween Muslims and Hindi in pulau Lombok, especially in \nMataram, is full of dynamics, not to mention rise and fall from \ntime to time.
