In this chapter, we explore the issues associated with the market dynamics of multiple, interacting product categories. First, the literature related to the multi-product growth models is reviewed. Next, we propose an expanded conceptual framework that identifies a more complete range of possible interactions among multiple products. We then offer a more general model structure based on the aggregate-level dynamic models used by ecologists, sociologists, and technology researchers to study interactions among several competing population species. Finally, we outline some promising are for future research.
