Advanced Queuing Theory Analysis Probability and Statistical Research Petri Nets in System Modeling

Abstract

SUMMARY Simple queues, with customers arriving at random for service at a number of service stations in series, are considered. Feedback is permitted either by feedback from the terminal server, or by feedback from each server of the series to the queue waiting for service at that stage. A constraint is introduced by imposing an upper limit on the number of customers in the system at any time. The service time of each server is supposed to be negative exponential.
