Pelayanan Pemuda di Era Teknologi Digital

Abstract

Abstraksi Era teknologi digital telah mengantarkan manusia memasuki gaya hidup baru yang tidak bisa dilepaskan dari perangkat yang serba elektronik. Teknologi menjadi alat yang membantu kebutuhan manusia. Dengan teknologi, apapun dapat dilakukan dengan mudah. Kreativitas, inovasi dan peluang-peluang baru pun muncul oleh kecanggihan berbagai macam aplikasi. Namun bagaikan dua sisi mata uang yang tidak mungkin bisa dipisahkan, dampak negatif dari perkembangan teknologi di era digital sekarang ini juga sangat mengkhawatirkan. Revolusi dalam pelayanan pemuda harus segera dilakukan dan mulai memberikan perhatian dan tenaga yang serius di dunia digital. Semua pemimpin gereja harus mengambil keputusan cepat dan tepat mengenai hal ini, agar pemuda gereja tetap mampu mengikuti perkembangan teknologi dengan baik tanpa kehilangan nilai-nilai kristiani dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan dapat menggunakan teknologi canggih ini untuk menyebarkan nilai-nilai alkitabiah bagi generasi ini dan generasi yang akan datang. Abstract Digital era has brought people entering a new lifestyle which cannot be separated from electronic gadgets. Technology becomes a tool that helps fulfilling human needs. Anything can be done easily with technology. Creativity, innovation and new opportunities are available due to super hi tech applications. However, as two-sided money which cannot be separated, there are negative impacts from this technology development which should be concerned. Revolution in youth ministry should be performed and consideration of digital world should be done. The fast and right actions should be taken by the church leaders about this matter so the youth generation in the church will be capable to catch up with the technology development without losing the Christianity values in their daily life, also they can use this high technology applications or gadgets to spread the bible values for this generation and the next generation.
