Abstract

This textbook offers a problem-oriented, cross-disciplinary introduction to multimodality. It sets the necessary theoretical foundation for productive engagement with all kinds of multimodality and applies numerous practical case studies that illustrate how readers can undertake their own analyses of today’s ever-more complex multimodal artifacts and performances.
