EnglishThe lack of systematic archaeological surveys in Comarca Comunidad de Ca-latayud entails the relative scarcity of rock art sites in this territory.. For the mo-ment, only a few number of engraved sites and two painted shelters are known..Nevertheless, the importance of those already known points out the inclusion of this area into the rich rock art frame of Aragon.. The shelter of Roca Benedi, the westernmost Levantine site in our autonomous region, is of great importance, with obvious thematic and stylistic parallels in distant zones, like Bajo Aragon and Maestrazgo.
