Kajian Semantik NAMA Diri Mahasiswa Madura di Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia Universitas Trunojoyo Madura

Abstract

The research entitled the Semantic Study of Student's Self Name PBI Study Program at the University of Trunojoyo Madura used the names of 2013 students of Class A, B, and C. University of Trunojoyo Madura as a State University (PTN) located near the border with the Surabaya City area has a variety shape, structure, and interesting meaning in the name of the student who is studying at the PTN. Based on the results of the analysis, it seems clear that the acculturation between Javanese and Madurese culture in the name of the self. This case is interesting to study, especially relating to the language of elements and the meaning contained in the names of the third-generation students at Trunojoyo Madura University. Understanding the language of elements and types of meaning can be known based on language as a stretcher forming the name of the student and the type of meaning contained in it. Key words: naming, language element names, name meanings, semantic studies.
