DISPERSÃO E DIFUSÃO DAS TRADIÇÕES RUPESTRES NO NORDESTE DO BRASIL. VIAS DE IDA E VOLTA?

Abstract

Essa hipótese pretende conduzir as futuras pesquisas para o estabelecimento de correlações entre as representações rupestres identificadas.ABSTRACTOver the last decades of archaeological research conducted in northeastern Brazil on rock records, an existence of common features was detected between the graphic signs documented in the di*erent provinces of the region cave. +is indicates the existence of a process the di*usion of ideas along with dispersion of human groups.+is article presents the working hypothesis on the origin of the traditions of rock painting in northeastern Brazil: the epicenter of the Northeast Tradition would be located in the region around the Serra da Capivara and the rugged tradition in the western half of Pernambuco State being the São Francisco River as the point of di*usion working as a round trip travel with wave dispersion forms that are timeless yet the lack of scienti%c data.KEYWORD: Rock art; Archeology; Northeastern Brazil.
