Financial Distress and Bankruptcy Prediction Financial Analysis and Corporate Governance Corporate Insolvency and Governance

Abstract

Can the information included in the financial statements of companies be used to predict future success or failure? This is a question that has been the subject of much academic research. The research published does show some links between trends in certain ratios and company failure, but it is likely that the best research has not been published as it has been sold commercially.
