ABSTRACT. Singapore is a developed country with a high population density. The large number of new arrivals to Singapore with various ethnicities has made the land to find a place to live less and denser. Vertical housing such as flat is a solution to overcome this population density at a low cost. However, a vertical residence has not been able to solve the problem of a culture brought by migrants who do come from a village. The vertical village exists to try to solve the problem of a population density as well as to accommodate the village culture that is thick with its togetherness. The purpose of this study was to assess the suitability of the Admiralty Village building with the vertical village concept. The research method uses descriptive qualitative deductive research methods to explain various things about the vertical village with theoretical studies as a guide. The results obtained are in the form of an explanation of the suitability of the Admiralty Village building with the concept of a vertical village. Keywords: Social Culture, Residential, Village, Vertical Village.
