Aplikasi Elektronik Arsip ( E-Arsip ) Pada Politeknik Negeri Lhokseumawe Berbasis Android

Abstract

AbstractLhokseumawe State Polytechnic is a higher education institution in Aceh, which contains archives management. The current management system at Lhokseumawe State Polytechnic is still semi-manual, in this system there are still many shortcomings, for example it still requires a lot of space in archive storage. To solve this problem, an Electronic Archive Application system called E-Archive was created. This study aims to test data security using the DES method in encrypting and decrypting files or documents uploaded in the E-Archives Application at Lhokseumawe State Polytechnic. The next test is to determine the quality of the network on the android application using logcat and meteor applications. The process of making this application uses the Java programming language, Java is used to build Android applications, while the database used is mysql. Thus the E-Archives application system is based on Android, which can be used directly at Lhokseumawe State Polytechnic to assist the process of organizing archives in accordance with the principles. Later in the process of searching for data and archival information it will become easier, safer, and more accurate.
