The archaeological excavations of a Scythian period settlement near the Titchikha farmstead revealed a seven rayed earring with a pseudo granulation ornamentation. The X ray spectrometry showed that it was made from a silver and copper alloy and, most likely, was coated with a thin layer of silver. The authors link this find to Titchikha, an unfortified settlement located nearby, and date it to the end of the 9th 10th centuries based on typological similarities with other items of this type of Slav artifacts.
