Information Technology and Universal Design: An Agenda for Accessible Technology

Abstract

Developments in information technology underscore the need for greater awareness, facilitation of universal design, and a focus on nontechnological barriers to implementing technology. The author presents his views on the current status of accessible technology, where the most significant barriers remain, and what may be done to address them.
