Given independent observations from k Poisson populations it is frequently of interest to make simultaneous confidence interval statements concerning the parameters and linear functions of them. It is suggested that estimation of arbitrary linear combinations, simple differences, and individual parameters each be handled by a different method. A numerical example from process control is used to illustrate the calculations.
