The following instructions will help you with the preparation of your paper. Please read them carefully before you start. The software you use to compose your work may not be capable of producing type sizes that exactly match those shown in the specifications below. In such cases you should try to obtain as close a match as possible, using the attached samples as a guideline. Text Area and Page Extent The area in which you are to key your text is 200mm deep x 140mm wide. You must contain all text matter and any figures within this area and ensure that the margins are consistent on all pages. Paper margins must be equal on both sides and equal on the top and bottom. Do not use corner/tick marks. Papers will normally be between 10 and 15 pages in extent. Paper submission Papers must be produced electronically and be PC compatible. Papers must be submitted in both their original native file format (MSWord or LaTeX) and as PDF files. PDF files must have all the relevant fonts embedded; deselect ‘image down sampling ’ and set Distiller settings to ‘press ’ or ‘print ’ in the ‘Job Options ’ to ensure high resolution files are produced. Papers may be submitted as email attachments, or on floppy disk or CD.
