Looks at the lives of Thomas Lake Harris, an American Christian mystic, and Laurence Oliphant. Oliphant was a successful Victorian writer and public figure, who joined Harris's cult, The Brotherhood of the New Life, for a life of physical labor and sexual mysticism.
