The problem is related to the lack of collections at the Kerinci Museum, the difficulty of the museum manager to get a collection that is the heart of a museum. The Kerinci Museum is one of the museums in Prop. Jambi is a state museum located outside the capital city of Jambi province, precisely in Kab. Kerinci. The results showed that the Kerinci Museum was built to maintain the values ??and culture of the Kerinci community, both in the form of Cultural Heritage Objects (BCB) as well as customs and traditions. Kerinci Museum has so far experienced problems such as very minimal collection because the museum manager is still having difficulty in finding and getting Cultural Heritage Objects (BCB) to be used as collections. Some collections contained in the Kerinci Museum are still in the form of replicas. In addition, due to the lack of knowledge of managers about collection and collection management, so that the collection of the Kerinci Museum is far from feasible.
