Mobile devices or smartphones have had a significant impact within all areas of society, as they can be used in any place and circumstance of daily life. Among the possible factors that favor its wide distribution and use is the development of many applications available for phones. As smartphones are used more in people’s daily lives, we have to think from the perspective of a person living with an impairment. Due to the above, it must be considered that according to the WHO, 15% of the world population lives with this condition. Within this segment of the population, special attention should be paid to people who live with hearing disabilities and who, due to their condition, use Sign Language as the main means of communication. This feature has significant implications in the life of a deaf person and also in their interaction with applications. Due to this situation, this article deals with a study that considers the development processes of mobile applications aimed at people with hearing disabilities. Thus, a systematic mapping of the literature was carried out to rescue the state of the art on design guides for mobile graphical interfaces focused on deaf users.
