Abstract

Distance trading is already an integral part of the economy of our country. With the active development of technologies, online retail determines the future of trade in Russia, having displaced other forms of distance selling. Having its own characteristics, expressed in both advantages and disadvantages, e-commerce is playing an increasing role in the developing of the current economy of the Russian Federation. This article is devoted to the description of the history of the development of distance trading in the Russian Federation, as well as to the identification of modern key features of its development.
