The economical restructuring og the oil nomenklatura. The oil stock was not managed according to the rules of centrally-planned economy while war and a wrong policy werre leading the country’s economic states to seriously deteriorate. The MPLA nomenklatura could consolidate its position making the most of a series of economic policies and preferences inherent to the existence of a single party system. Hostile to economical reforms, they were to be its main beneficiary thanks to the right to property given to private entreprises.
