Traditional navigation services provide a variety of user-tailored routes from the source to the desired destination but fail to account for vital safety information; This research aims to focus on new prospects of Global Positioning System(GPS)-based pedestrian Navigation systems. This research explores the enhancement of the current GPS-based pedestrian navigation system to suggest safe routes depending on insights from POI data. We propose a novel, safe route navigation system that proposes routes for pedestrians with a diminished sense of criminal danger. Here, we consider busy roads to be safer than deserted ones, as the increased pedestrian traffic reduces anxiety and provides a sense of security. Nevertheless, estimating human density to locate a busy road is challenging. We present a method for determining a busy road with sufficient population density using POI. This is accomplished by incorporating a POI accounting system into the traditional GPS pedestrian navigation system's preferred routes. In addition to distance and travel time, this approach gives the POI weights as the edge costs of a road graph, by which efficient routes will be suggested to pedestrians. The proposed approach address the limitation of the existing research gap by employing dynamic data in real-time to formulate safe navigation.
