Access of Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) Services by the PG Students of J.S.S.P. College, Goveli: A Study

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide the findings of a survey undertaken to determine the use of an online public access catalogue (OPAC) at J.S.S.P. College's library in Goveli. The library hosted the questionnaire-based survey. The questionnaire is issued at random to 200 PG students and 184 completed questionnaires obtained from respondents. The paper examines several elements of OPAC, including knowledge of OPAC, frequency of using OPAC, reason for using OPAC, user approaches to OPAC, problems encountered by the user when using OPAC, and so on.
