Abstract

Abstract This is a comprehensive study of the evolution and protection of the branch of human rights which is devoted to `minorities'. This general rubric covers ethnic, religious, racial, and cultural minorities. The general area of `minority rights', sometimes grouped with the emerging study of `rights of peoples' is talked of as the new generation of human rights which will expand enormously over the coming years.
