Abstract

本研究は，2013年に中国四川省で起きた芦山地震を対象に，芦山県内の3地区（芦陽鎮，龍門郷，太平鎮）を事例地区として住宅被害をもたらした地域的要因を明らかにすることを目的とした．特に，本研究では，住宅構造の違い（鉄骨造，レンガ混用構造，伝統木造の住宅）に起因する建物被害に着目した．本研究では以下の点が明らかとなった．まず，3地区は標高の差はあるものの同一河川の氾濫原に位置しており，地形条件の差が住宅被害の差異の要因とは認められなかった．一方で，農業従事者の所得は他産業従事者と比べて低く，低所得の住民が安価なレンガ混用構造の住宅を建設する傾向にあり，3地区に共通して，こうした地震に脆弱な住宅が多く存在していたことが建物被害を大きくした．以上から，所得格差という社会経済条件の差異が被害の差異をもたらしたことが明らかになった．
