Data visualization is a computer technique that transforms information into visual representations, with broad applications in areas such as data analysis, education, business, politics, and decision-making. However, the accessibility of these visualizations for users with vision impairments is a crucial factor. This article presents the results of a systematic mapping that addresses accessibility in visualizations, identifying various computational solutions and methods used to enhance it. The degree of practical implication of these solutions is analyzed in terms of the impact they generate, as well as the elements that need to be considered to enhance accessibility in data visualizations. This provides a more comprehensive insight into how the issue of accessibility in data visualizations has been approached.
