The aim of this paper is to study the optimization method for cross-border e-commerce logistics distribution network design based on genetic algorithm. Firstly, an analysis is conducted on the overview of cross-border e-commerce and logistics, revealing their relationship and importance. The basic theory of logistics network design is then explored, along with an introduction to the basic principles of the saving algorithm and genetic algorithm, as well as their application in solving optimization problems. The logistics distribution network design optimization based on the saving genetic algorithm focuses on the problem description, model assumption, and the application of hybrid genetic algorithm. In addition, simulation experiments and result analyses are included to verify the effectiveness of this optimization method. Through this study, we will provide a highly efficient and economical logistics distribution network design scheme for cross-border e-commerce, which can improve operational efficiency and reduce costs. This research is of great significance in promoting the development of the cross-border e-commerce industry, helping strengthen logistics network planning and management, and improving the convenience and effectiveness of international trade.
