Abstract Inclusive public space is mandatory to confirm that our public spaces are wide-ranging for all so that everyone has impartial access to the free valuable resources provided by shared spaces. In Kampung Bustaman Semarang, street alleys, as the representative of public space, become the dynamic hidden structure. Bustaman, a culinary centre for goat processing, is one of the historic old kampungs in Semarang City’s centre, founded in colonial times. This goat processing-based economic activity uses outdoor space in its production process This research explores the spatial pattern of inclusiveness based on goat processing in this area. This research uses qualitative methods, with direct observation and interviews with community leaders, the butcher, the goat head cleaner, and the goat curry cooker in July 2023. This qualitative method captures inclusive economic spatial patterns based on goat processing activities. The research results show that the inclusive space for goat-based economic activities is located in the central alley which is used for processing and production activities. The analysis found that although this goat-based activity is polluting and impacts environmental and visual degradation, the community has accepted the existence of economic activities and feels inclusive in the outdoor space due to the local wisdom and being part of a family in Kampung Bustaman.
