Progress with realizing the redefined Kelvin

Abstract

The redefinition of the kelvin is introduced followed by an overview of progress made towards realizing the redefined kelvin with particular emphasis on using primary thermometry approaches to enable traceability direct to the kelvin definition. Perspectives for temperature traceability in the short-, medium- and long-term are discussed along with the possible requirements for a future temperature scale.
