Abstract

In this article, the author identifies Professor Alex Gitterman’s contributions to the fields of social work and group work specifically. She explains the points of overlap between Gitterman’s Life Model (LM) and the trauma-informed (TI) perspective and explains what it means to adopt a TI lens in group work.
