A review of various versions of the cognitive reflection test used in psychology to study intuitive and reflective responses in cognitive problem solving is presented. The main distinguishing feature of this type of test is the presence of an “intuitive lure” in each question. Translations and adaptations of the methods into Russian with methodological justification of their use are presented. Reliability, convergent validity, advantages and disadvantages of the traditional version of the cognitive reflection test (CRT-3), its extended versions (CRT-2, CRT-7, CRT-Long, Ackerman items), versions with closed-type questions (CRT MCQ-4, CRT-13), verbal (CRT-V) and child (CRT-D) versions of the test are considered. The problem of the test's popularity in the Russian-speaking segment of the Internet, which can potentially reduce the validity of the diagnostic procedure, is discussed. The results of search queries in Russian in Yandex and Google for specific tasks of all versions of the cognitive reflection test and the correct solutions to these tasks are analyzed. It was found that tasks from the classical, verbal and children's versions of the cognitive reflection test (CRT-3, CRT-2, CRT-D, CRT-V) with correct answers are easily found in the first entries of Internet search results. Numerical non-classical versions of the cognitive reflection test (CRT-2, CRT-7, CRT-Long, CRT-13) are less represented in the Russian-language Internet segment. In specific tasks, there is variability of the initial data, so they are less susceptible to factors of violation of validity with excessive recognition and biased response.
