This chapter comprises a reflective dialogue between Maureen O'Hara and Keith Tudor on two of Maureen's papers on psychology futures (which form the preceding Chapters 19 and 20). The chapter begins with a personal story from Maureen which provides some background to her interest in envisioning the future; and the identification of three influences—the environmental movement, the human potential movement, and a connection with the futurist, Walter T. Anderson—all of which has defined her quest for a more just and sustainable future. Maureen and Keith's dialogue in this chapter encompasses some discussion of consciousness and (the) new psyche; the work of the International Futures Forum (which Maureen refers to as a Scottish ‘think and do tank’); the assault on truth and truth systems; and the maintenance of hope.
