Abstract

This report describes a holistic way to view the relationship between the public realm and public policy. The report asks for a shift in the way that one thinks about shared space - from shared space as a goal to shared space as a process. Since this shift will be difficult to obtain, the report provides a list of obstacles that will have to be overcome in order to achieve process oriented shared space.
