Abstract

A study of the work of four of Italy's most highly acclaimed and influential contemporary writers: Italo Calvino, Leonardo Sciascia, Umberto Eco, and Luigi Malerba. It traces the features that mark these texts as postmodern and explores the question of indeterminacy.
