Land Use Model Based on Disaggregate Behavioral Analyses

Abstract

This paper discusses the application of disaggregate behavioral models in land use analysis, and both industrial and residential location models are built using this information. Integrating some existing models with them, a land use transport model is developed. Finally, the microcomputer systems where the integrated mode is installed is described with some applications. The models are calibrated in the Sapporo Metropolitan Area in Hokkaido, Japan. The study area is divided into 33 zones for the analysis that correspond to established administrative zones.
