Abstract

This commentary provides a continuous philological and theological interpretation of 1 Corinthians. For Andreas Lindemann, 1 Corinthians is a literary whole; it contains Pauls answers to various current problems in the community in Corinth. In this context, Pauls main concern is to show ways of preserving church unity in spite of all the inner-community disagreements.
