boomers (40 to 55 years old) in China participated in this survey study that investigated attitudes toward the elderly. Kogan's Attitude towards Old People (Kogan, 1961) was used for this research study. Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA) and stepwise hierarchical regression analyses were performed. Results from analyses revealed that cohort (college students vs. baby boomers) was significant with baby boomers reporting more positive attitudes toward older people than college students. Gender was significant with male participants reporting more positive attitudes. We provide some interpretations of the findings.
