Consumer Market Behavior and Pricing Agricultural economics and policies Economics of Agriculture and Food Markets

Abstract

In this article characteristic of the beer market in Poland has been presented. The Author concentrated on producion and sales levels as well as consumption of beer per capita in Poland. It has also indicated main beer brands and market shares of largest companies. The Author has discussed excise tax issues emphasizing its significant impact on the beer industry. Moreover, main trends and perspectives of beer market development have been pointed out.
