Abstract

The identification and authentication of many scattered pages of Coptic have brought to light a veritable pseudo-Ephrem corpus, which in its physiognomy and homogeneity of content is unlike any analogous collection. The main criterion governing the choice of material, which is all spiritual, paraenetic, or eschatological, seems to have been inspired by monastic spirituality.
