The aim of this study was to understand aspects related to the lifestyle, consumption, career, and income that define "Generation Y". We used the e-survey technique with graduate students, who recently concluded their course at a Confessional University. Fifty four questionnaires were validated with twelve questions concerning the characterization of the respondents and thirty six referring to the purpose of the research. We chose descriptive statistics to characterize the sample data and exploratory factor analysis resulting in three factors: networking, work & fun and sustainability & environment. We show that the general characteristics of the collective personality of this generation were maintained, but these may vary according to the context in which it is inserted.
