Advanced Statistical Process Monitoring Probability and Statistical Research Survey Sampling and Estimation Techniques

Abstract

The effects of inspection error on performance measures of a single-sampling plan are well documented. This paper considers the effects of inspection error on the operating characteristic curve, average outgoing quality, and average total inspection of a double sampling plan. These effects are examined for sampling both with and without replacement.
