One of the most relevant characteristic of face to face psychotherapy is the interaction between psychologists and patients in a clinical context. However, psychologists used to recommend, as an important part of the treatment, some tasks to be made in the patients natural environment. This kind of tasks can be implemented via computer or Internet. Clinical investigation in this field shows an important number of programs relating to different psychological problems such as anxiety, depression and eating behaviour. Their results show that, apart from its clinical relevance, these programs can add one salient advantage: They could be easier to be spread among population, as has already been recognized by a pub-lic health control agency. Altogether, it could be said that computerised and online clinical resources can be included in the future of psychotherapy offered by public health systems.
