El desarrollo local y sus protagonistas. Estudio en dos comunas de la provincia de Santa Fe (Argentina)

Abstract

This article presents the preliminary results of two on-going, closely related research\nprojects: Educational institutions in complex contexts: schools, companies and local\ndevelopment (CONICET-IRICE) and Work, local development and diversity (PAV\n103/3 SECYT). The study discusses the conception of "development" from the viewpoint\nof the inhabitants of two towns in the province of Santa Fe, where changes stemming\nfrom the settlement of important companies have taken or are taking place. Data\ncollected are significant from the standpoint of the analysis of theories on development\nand their possibilities for social realization.
