Abstract

การรสารนเทศเปนประเดนทไดรบความสนใจเปนอยางมากในปจจบน เพราะการรสารนเทศเปนเครองมอทชวยใหบคคลสามารถตอสกบภาวะสารนเทศทวมทนในยคแหงสงคมสารนเทศได อกทงยงเปนประโยชนตอการเปนผเรยนรตลอดชวต ในฐานะแหลงผลตทรพยากรบคคลทมคณภาพใหกบประเทศ สถาบนอดมศกษาจงตระหนกวา การผลตบณฑตทเปนผรสารนเทศเปนวาระทสำคญอยางหนงของมหาวทยาลย บทความน นำเสนอความหมายและความสำคญของการรสารนเทศ แบบจำลองเกยวกบการรสารนเทศ การใหการศกษาเกยวกบการรสารนเทศ และการประเมนการรสารนเทศ โดยเฉพาะในบรบทของสถาบนอดมศกษา เพอใหเกดความรความเขาใจ และเปนแนวทางในการนำไปปฏบต Information literacy is an issue of great interest at the present since it is a tool that can help an individual to cope with information overload in the Age of Information Society. Additionally, it is advantageous to becoming a lifelong learner. As a source producing quality human resources for the country, higher education institutions realise that producing information literate graduates is a crucial agenda of the universities. This article presents definition and importance of information literacy, information literacy models, information literacy education, and information literacy assessment, especially in the context of higher education, in order to provide some understanding and guideline for the practice.
